LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A 26-year-old former magazine model and her boyfriend were dismissed in court today after being indicted on Friday in the killing of a California psychiatrist whose body was found outside Las Vegas.
Kelsey Nichole Turner and Jon Logan Kennison are accused by police of killing 71-year-old Thomas Kirk Burchard and leaving his bludgeoned corpse in the trunk of Turner's car on a desert road near Lake Mead.

Their former roommate, Diana Nicole Pena, has not been indicted, according to her attorney.
Thursday, Pena is expected to enter a plea. Her lawyer told reporters outside the courtroom that she had “nothing to do with the murder” and that she “turned herself in” to tell her side of the story. He added that many more details will come out in Thursday’s court date.
