Greenspun Media Group columnist John Katsilometes will appear as a regular guest on 13 Action News’ Midday show with anchor Dayna Roselli.
During the 11 a.m. broadcast, Katsilometes will provide insight from his perch as the author of the man-about-town column The Kats Report in the Las Vegas Sun and Las Vegas Weekly. Topics will include the news about the shows, celebrities, festivals and anything that keeps Las Vegas’ neon lights glowing as an international entertainment hub.
Katsilometes is a columnist and magazine writer for the Las Vegas Sun and Las Vegas Weekly and editor-at-large for Greenspun Media Group. In all, Katsilometes writes for a half-dozen publications based in Las Vegas, including Las Vegas Magazine and The Sunday weekly news magazine. He has won three Best of the West awards for column writing, was named the 2013 Journalist of the Year by the Nevada Press Association and won the NPA’s award for Best Local Column statewide in 2015. Katsilometes also hosts The Kats Report radio show each Wednesday night at 8 on KUNV 91.5-FM.
Roselli is news anchor for Channel 13 Action News’ Good Morning Las Vegas show. She came to KTNV in October 2015 from KXNT radio, having worked in TV for years previously. She is an Emmy Award-winning anchor who was named one of the Top 100 women of influence in southern Nevada by My Vegas magazine in 2013.
