A Las Vegas dad says one of the movers he paid took his son's things.
He said they took a whole box of stuff, including a brand-new iPad.
"After unloading the totes and putting everything away in the house, we discovered there were totes missing," said Antonio Costantino.
Costantino calculated the missing tote's contents were worth $1,200.
Police helped him make a report, and then he filed a claim with the company that moved them, Move4Less.
"They came back with an offer of $16 as compensation," Costantino said. "It was not a good feeling in my stomach. It felt we'd been violated. My family's been violated."
13 Action News went to Move4Less to see what they had to say.
One of the owners told us they fired the mover who stole the tote.
But he said they technically don't have to offer Costantino anything because of the paperwork their customer's sign.
"We tell them, jewelry, precious, cash, iPads, things like that, just put it in your car on move day," the owner said. "It not like we're telling them we're sending thieves, but we don't want the responsibility."
Move4Less just made Costantino another offer of $600 for what was taken.
Costantino said police are closing in on an arrest. We'll let you know what happens.
