An inmate from High Desert State Prison near Indian Springs died at a Las Vegas hospital Monday morning.
63-year-old Gary Bernard Linzy died around 4:15 a.m. at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center. Linzy was committed from Clark County in November and serving 2 1/2 to 8 years for second degree kidnapping and attempted robbery with a deadly weapon enhancement.
The Clark County Coroner responded and an autopsy is being scheduled. Next of kin have been notified.
