An inmate from Clark County walked away from a camp near Tonopah Sunday morning.
The Nevada Department of Corrections reported a minimum security inmate walked away from Tonopah Conservation Camp located approximately 12 miles northeast of Tonopah. It is believed 48-year-old Steven R. Perry left shortly before 8 a.m. when he was discovered missing.
Perry had only been at the camp for a few weeks, arriving from Clark County on June 19. He was serving 3 to 7 years for burglary. He is 5 feet 7 inches tall, blue eyes, long grey hair and approximately 150 pounds.
Perry was last seen wearing blue jeans, white T-shirt with a blue button down shirt and white sneakers.
