An inmate from Clark County died in Carson city Monday.
The Nevada Department of Corrections reported around midnight, 69-year-old Cread Lyons died at the Regional Medical Facility at Northern Nevada Correction Center in Carson City.
Lyons was serving life for first-degree murder and had been in prison since May 4, 1993.
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office Coroner responded and an autopsy is being scheduled.
