UPDATE: The freeway reopened around 1:09 p.m.

ORIGINAL STORY:

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- The southbound lanes of Interstate 15 are shut down near St. Rose Parkway because of a bomb threat on a tour bus.

Nevada Highway Patrol says they received a call at approximately 11:45 Wednesday.

53 people, including the driver, were on board at the time the threat was made. Everyone was able to exit safely and one individual was placed in custody.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Armored Task Force is on the way to investigate. An RTC bus was sent to the scene to pick up the passengers and driver.
