Here's where you can slurp down oysters in Las Vegas on National Oyster Day

August 5 is National Oyster Day and there are plenty of slurp-worthy oysters in the Las Vegas valley.

The Oyster Bar at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is celebrating National Oyster Day on Aug. 4 by offering a selection of East and West Coast oysters for only $1 each.

Blue Ribbon at The Cosmopolitan hotel-casino is offering an oyster special for $28 from Aug. 5 to Aug. 12. Enjoy one West Coast oyster, one East Coast oyster, one baked oyster, one fried oyster and a glass of Chablis wine.  

Chef Rick Moonen and RM Seafood at Mandalay Bay will be celebrating National Oyster Day. RM Seafood is known for its raw bar and serves only the best from both the East and West coasts. Oysters are only $1 each during Happy Hour. 

The daily Social Hour at The Barrymore features Oyster Rockefeller with creamy spinach, prosciutto, pernod and bread crumps on its menu. The Social Hour takes place between 5 to 7 p.m. daily in the bar, in the lounge or on the patio. Or, choose the entree-sized portion for $21.  

Andiron Steak & Sea offers oysters for $1 during its Happy Hour on Tuesdays. The Happy Hour takes place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

If you are still in the mood for oysters next week, check out the lunch specials at South Point's Big Sur Oyster Bar. Oysters are half price from noon to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.

Get a half dozen cold-water oysters on the half shell for $23 at Aquaknox inside The Venetian. Served with atomic cocktail sauce, lemon and Tabsaco.

Bazaar Meat by Jose Andres at SLS Las Vegas offers a variety of oysters. Get a half dozen or dozen fresh oysters with fruit vinegar and cocktail sauce for $24 or $48 or a half dozen of smoke & ice fresh oysters for $24 or a half dozen of grilled oysters with butter for $24.

Big Al's Oyster Bar at The Orleans hotel-casino offers a half dozen oysters on the half shell for $15 or a dozen for $25. Or get Oysters Rockefeller (half dozen) for $17.

A half dozen fresh shucked oysters are $22 at Emeril's New Orleans Fish House. The oysters are served with a watermelon mignoette and  kicked-up cocktail sauce. Or, try the Lousiana-style broiled oysters with spiked herb butter for $15.

Joe's Seafood Prime Steak & Stone Crab offers fried oysters and Oysters Rockefeller for $18.95. It also offers oysters on the half shell at market price.

The raw bar at Mercato della Pescheria at The Venetian offers a half dozen oysters for $20 or dozen for $28. Or, try the Blue Point oysters from New York for $4 each or Kumamoto oysters from Washington for $4 each.

Order a half dozen of oysters at Shuck's Oyster Bar and Tavern for $10.99. Or, get a full dozen for $18.99. Shuck's also offers Oyster Rockefeller for $11.99, fried oysters for $11.99, Peruvian-style oysters for $12.99, Orleans-style oysters for $11.99 and oyster shooters for $5.
