Henderson police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide incident from late Thursday night.
Officer Rod Pena said officers responded to a home in the 2800 block of Via Bel Mondo Street, near Robindale Road and Eastern Avenue, at about 11:45 p.m. in response for a welfare check.
Inside the residence, officers found a 42-year-old woman deceased with an apparent gunshot wound along with a 39-year-old man with a fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The incident remains under investigation according to authorities.
Authorities were called to an earlier murder-suicide situation in the Henderson area Thursday.
