Sen. Dean Heller says he's committed to voting against Hillary Clinton, but isn't committing to vote for Donald Trump.
Heller made the comments to reporters Wednesday in Las Vegas, shortly after Texas Sen. Ted Cruz dropped out of the presidential race and news broke that Gov. John Kasich planned to do the same.
Heller said he's vehemently opposed to some things Trump has said, but added that electing Clinton would be like a third term for President Barack Obama.
He noted that Nevada allows voters to choose "none of these candidates" on the ballot, although he didn't commit to that option.
Heller acknowledged Trump's presence at the top of the ticket could affect races like Rep. Joe Heck's competitive bid for Senate, but he's not sure exactly how.
