LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Hard Rock Cafe on the corner of Paradise Road and Harmon Avenue will be demolished on Nov. 18.
The demolition is part of the property's transformation into Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
The cafe opened in 1990 and closed on Dec. 31, 2016. The 82-foot-tall neon guitar, inspired by Pete Townsend's No. 9 Gibson Paul Deluxe, in front of the cafe was moved earlier this year to the Neon Museum.
