CARSON CITY (KTNV) — The Nevada Governor’s Office says the 2021 State of the State address will be held virtually starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Gov. Steve Sisolak is expected to submit the proposed recommended budget to the director of the Legislative Counsel Bureau for transmittal to legislative members.

A pre-program will also be included in the broadcast that will include traditional elements for such an event as an invocation, presentation of colors, the Pledge of Allegiance and the national anthem.
