LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A victory parade celebrating the Vegas Golden Knights' Stanley Cup win will take over part of the Las Vegas Strip on Saturday.

Officials with the Vegas Golden Knights tell Channel 13 the parade will start at 7 p.m. on Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road.

The route will continue south on Las Vegas Boulevard, with a final destination of Toshiba Plaza outside T-Mobile Arena for a victory rally.

Double-decker buses are on deck to transport the Golden Knights down the Strip.

Fans can expect speeches, performances and a live DJ at Toshiba Plaza to kick off the victory rally at approximately 9 p.m.

Both sides of Las Vegas Boulevard will be shut down during the parade, Clark County officials noted in a news release.

The Golden Knights secured a 9-3 victory in Game 5 and hoisted the cup at the T-Mobile Arena in front of a record-breaking crowd of 19,058.

Jonathan Marchessault was also named the winner of the 2023 Conn Smythe Trophy.

According to both VGK players and coaches, the key to the teams' success on Tuesday night was "keeping their emotions in check and just playing their game."
