G2E 2019 is the largest event of its kind and will showcase the latest trends in gaming and video technology - items from traditional casino games to sports betting and digital products.
There are dozens of companies on display, including Aristocrat Technologies.
Their games are seen across the world inside casinos, Las Vegas being no exception.
The goal for Aristocrat this year is trying to bridge the gap between the experience at the casino, and the one at home, all with the help of technology.
One of the ways they’re doing that is by incorporating some familiar names like Game of Thrones, Star Trek and even Mad Max games.
“It’s installed here on the casino floor the first time its ever been installed,” says Jon Hanlan, Vice President of Gaming Operations.
“Top of the line 43 inch screens that really give it a full cinematic experience.”
Hanlan says the focus now across the competitive gaming industry as technology evolves is finding ways to keep the player engaged.
“New apps and new experiences that operators can use too engage their players at home and bring them back into the casino," says Hanlan.
