LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Get ready. There is going to be a BIG temperature drop between Friday and Saturday.
Friday’s high temperature is expected to be 85 degrees. Saturday’s high temperature is expected to be 60 degrees. That is a difference of 25 degrees.
Not only will it be much cooler, but there will be significant wind and even a chance of rain this weekend.
The Las Vegas valley can expect winds from the southwest at about 25mph on Friday, 30mph Sunday and 35mph Sunday.
And, we will have a 30% chance of rain on Saturday and 60% on Sunday. Rain totals will be light.
There’s also a Winter Storm Watch in effect from early Sunday to Sunday night in the mountains near Las Vegas and Southern Nevada.

Some snow is expected Saturday and Sunday in Mount Charleston and Lee Canyon, with elevations above 5,000 feet seeing 3" to 6" of possible snow.

High temperatures will remain in the upper 50s and low 60s next week, but no more rain/snow/wind are expected.
