LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Gas prices are expected to stay steady this year. Gas Buddy is predicting that gas prices this year will be about 2 cents lower than last year on average.
Of course that won't be true all year. Prices tend to rise when gas stations switch to summer blends.
Prices are expected to be lowest in February and peak in May.
GasBuddy.com says the average gas price in Las Vegas is $2.96 per gallon. That is down from $3.22 a month ago.
The cheapest gas can currently be found at Costco and Sam's Club for $2.65 per gallon.
