Former Vice President Al Gore will appear at UNLV next week to talk about climate change.
The event is scheduled for 3 p.m. April 30 in Artemus Ham Hall.
Gore, subject of the Academy Award-winning film "An Inconvenient Truth" and founder of the non-profit Climate Reality Project, will discuss the impacts of a warming world and how people can make a difference. The event will also include remarks from Sen. Harry Reid and a moderated Q&A with Gore and Reid.
The free, ticketed event is at capacity.
