A Las Vegas security company says they fired two of their employees after they say the men were caught on camera stealing a dog.

Julia Hignite says her dog went missing Jan. 14. Hignite and her family immediately started looking for Rocco the 5-year-old Miniature Bull Terrier.

Normally, when a missing dog is seen roaming in Hignite's gated community near Broadbent and Russell, neighbors tie the dogs up in the dog park because it is safe there.

Hignite checked the community dog park multiple times but Rocco never turned up there.

Hignite and her family hung fliers and posted all over social media about Rocco's disappearance.

Days later, a neighbor came forward saying they saw Rocco in the community clubhouse with one of the neighborhood security guards.

American Star Guard Services showed Hignite the video. The General Manager of the company confirmed the man seen with Rocco and the other man in the video were both employees.

The General Manager says both security guards have been fired but Rocco is still missing.

"Just drop him off or take him to the Animal Foundation or take him to a vet," said Hignite. "He's chipped, they would contact me, he can come home and nobody has to go any further."

Rocco has multiple food allergies and he's given medicine for seizures daily.

"I just don't want to see him suffer," said Hignite's daughter Julianna Dail. "I just want my dog back."

American Star Guard Services is working with the family to get Rocco home safely.
