The Las Vegas National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for west central Clark County.
FLASH FLOOD WARNING until 3:15 for an area on extreme west side just outside city, west of CC-215 hwy. If you are hiking or driving anywhere west of CC-215 stay aware of your surroundings, flash floods occur suddenly without warning. Stay out of low lying areas & canyons. https://t.co/J0h6BCaQoX

The weather service expects thunderstorms and says at least one inch of rain has fallen already.

They warn those close to Red Rock Canyon National Park, Blue Diamond Road, and Spring Mountain Ranch.
