The area near Sandhill Road and Desert Inn Road is known to flood during rains due to a lack of storm drains.
Over 15 cars had to be towed during a storm last spring due to flooding, according to residents in the area.
Flash flood watches are in effect from now until 5 a.m. on Friday.
