Rain and hail were reported from around the Las Vegas valley on Thursday afternoon.
The heavy rain resulted in flooding on multiple streets and several swift water rescues.

In addition, more than 4,100 customers lost power in zip codes 89014, 89117, 89118, 89120, 89121, and 89122. And, a home caught on fire after it was struck by lightning.
McCarran International Airport also tweeted that flights at the airport were being affected by the storm.
The first warnings for the storm were issued around 12:30 p.m. By 2:30 p.m., reports of rain and hail were pouring in from around the valley.
