Tesla gave a first look of its new factory outside of Sparks Tuesday.
In a press conference, CEO Elon Musk says the gigafactory itself is going to be a major innovation. He says that makes it even more important than the products it is creating because it will bring $50 million to $60 million a year.
The factory will make batteries for the Model 3 sedan.
