Firefighters battle house fire in Henderson

Firefighters are battling flames Monday morning at a home near Gibson Road and the 215 beltway.

 

Reports say a mother and her son were house sitting. They were inside the home when the fire took place but made it out safely. The mother sustained minor burns. Neither were transported to the hospital.

 

Other homes in the neighborhood were evacuated. The evacuation orders have since been lifted.
