UPDATE: The firefighter is back on duty at the scene. The fire is out.
ORIGINAL STORY:
A firefighter is being treated after falling off the roof of a house fire on Thursday near Maryland Parkway and Bonanza Road.
Investigators say the home was vacant at the time. The home is believed to have been occupied by squatters.
Crews began to attack the fire around the chimney area. One firefighter fell off the roof. They are currently being examined by medical personnel. The injuries are non-life threatening.
