Clark County firefighters responded to a fire on Monday afternoon at Rumor Hotel at 455 E. Harmon Ave.
The fire department sent 4 engines, 1 truck, 1 rescue, and 2 battalion chiefs. They were assisted by Las Vegas Fire & Rescue.
Upon arrival, firefighters observed smoke coming from the 2-story hotel. More resources were needed and a second alarm was requested. An additional 6 engines, 2 more trucks, 2 more rescues, 2 more battalion chiefs and a rehab unit.
Hotel guests were evacuated during the incident and no one was injured.
The fire started around 1:30 p.m. It was declared knocked down at 1:56 p.m.
Crews are currently ventilating the structure so that guests can return to the property and their rooms.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
