LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Feeding wildlife at the City of Las Vegas parks is now prohibited under a new ordinance.
The city cites public health concerns and pollution as to why the ordinance was passed.
The penalty if you are caught is $10.

Excessive feeding has led to:
- public health concerns
- pollution in nearby waterways, backyards & athletic fields
- aggressive animals
