A valley family reached out to 13 Action News after the roof of their apartment near Hacienda and Swenson collapsed on Saturday.
Valerie Duklis said it started slowly with a bit of water dripping from the ceiling. A few hours later, the family heard a big crash.
"Like a tub coming through the bottom floor," said Duklis.
Duklis said the mess is the result of a water heater bursting in the upstairs unit.
Right now, the electricity in her apartment is turned off as a safety precaution.
"What am I to do?" she said, "...I'm on a fixed income."
Late Monday night, 13 Action News attempted to reach the owner of the unit.
We will reach out to him again Tuesday morning.
Check back soon for updates.
