HENDERSON (KTNV) — Brandon Wilt and his wife are searching for answers after his mom 42-year-old Juliane Kellner was named as a victim in an apparent murder-suicide. Wilt says his mom was reported missing two weeks before police found her body.

Wilt traveled from Florida to Henderson to recover his mother's body and learn more from Henderson Police about his mother's death.

"I couldn't even kiss my mom one last time. They would not let me see her," Wilt said.

Police say Kellner was found dead in a Henderson apartment a week and a half after she was reportedly murdered.

Wilt says Kellner moved from southwest Florida to Las Vegas last year. The mother of three was working hard to get her life back on track when it was cut short.

A YouTube video shows Kellner motivating women and sharing her journey to a better path after struggles with human trafficking and drug addiction.

"She was doing so well in life that we thought it was the right idea for her to stay," Wilt said.

Wilt knew something was wrong when his mother hadn't been heard from in a couple of days and she didn't show up for work on July 1.

Wilt says investigators learned his mom was talking to a man she met on the dating site Plenty of Fish. Her car was found parked in front of the address linked to that man on June 30, but police reportedly didn't issue a search warrant for the apartment and find Kellner's body until July 10.

Henderson Police say they're investigating Kellner's death as a murder-suicide. Her body was found inside an apartment complex with a man who was also dead. Both died from gunshot wounds, police say.

The Clark County coroner identified the man as 39-year-old Victor Crisan of Henderson. His cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head and his death was ruled a suicide.
