All seven family members, a mom a dad and their five kids, ran to safety.
Fire officials say only the mom suffered injuries. She rushed to get her children out. In her haste, she no time to put on shoes and burned the bottoms of her feet on the scorching pavement.
The children were staying with family members nearby.
The Red Cross was at the home to offer help.
Two pets were also inside. It was not clear what happened to them.
