Jimmy Dahlan tells television station KNTV, an NBC affiliate in San Jose, that his sister Olga Dahlan, her husband Jason Thomas Price and their three children, ages 9, 10 and 14, died in the crash Saturday. They lived in Gilroy.

Dahlan says the family was on its way to Henderson  to attend a holiday party.

Air traffic controllers lost contact with the single-engine Piper PA32 Saturday as it headed from Reid-Hillview Airport in San Jose to Henderson Executive Airport in suburban Las Vegas. The pilot is heard saying in calls to air traffic control, "Mayday, Mayday, Mayday!"
