UPDATE AT NOON: Cooling stations have been opened around the Las Vegas valley (and in Laughlin) for anyone who made need them. It is already above 100 degrees and the temperature is still rising.

As the result of the high temperatures, an excessive heat warning to be issued for the Las Vegas area.
