LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Newly-elected Nevada Assemblywoman Annie Black from Mesquite is responding to the demands for her to resign.
Black was at the Capitol in Washington, D.C., when it was breached by protesters last week.

Black had attended President Trump’s rally before the incident and was still in the area when the breach took place.
Black is claiming that she never entered the Capitol building and the rally was “marred by some fringe elements” who “should be punished. Severly.”
"To be absolutely clear: I wasn’t part of the march down Pennsylvania Avenue, never entered the Capitol and didn’t cross the barricades,” wrote Black in a blog post on Sunday
