LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A small earthquake shook the northern part of the Las Vegas valley on Thursday night.
2.5 magnitude earthquake felt in North Las Vegas
Initially reported as a magnitude 2.6, the earthquake was later determined to by magnitude 2.5, according to the Nevada Seismological Laboratory.
The epicenter of the quake, reported at 8:06 p.m., hit just north of Craig Ranch Regional Park in North Las Vegas, but viewers across the northern portion of the valley reported feeling the jolt.
