LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — US Geological Service has recorded a 5.5 earthquake 17km south of Searles Valley, CA at 6:32 p.m.
The earthquake was felt throughout the Las Vegas valley.

McCarran Airport released the following statement on twitter:
"Whoa, a little bit of ground turbulence (earthquake)! We felt it here at LAS but there's no impact to operations. Our teams continue to inspect the facility. Stay safe out there!"
