A dryer is believed to be behind a fire in North Las Vegas Wednesday evening.
The fire was reported around 5:40 p.m. in the 3500 block of Bryan Keith Avenue, near Ann Road and Allen Lane. A father came home to smoke billowing out of the windows.
Much of the damage was confined to the dryer and its contents.
While the dryer is believed to have played a part, the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
