Clark County School District police report that Desert Oasis High School was placed on lockdown on Thursday.
It started around 9:10 a.m. and lasted for about 25 minutes.
Investigators say a non-student went on campus and reportedly made threats to a student at the school.
The non-student left campus on foot and was found in a nearby neighborhood. He was stopped and was detained.
There was a rumor that he had a knife on him, but no weapon has been found.
