LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Las Vegas Raiders are being scrutinized for not wearing masks at an event for Darren Waller's charity this week.
Quarterback Derek Carr says the team is trying their very best to follow the rules.
"We had a few moments where we slipped," he said. "[We] took the masks off so people could see our face, things like that."

"We weren't perfect but we were trying our best," added Carr. "We weren't trying to be careless or reckless.
Carr says he hopes the mistake doesn't overshadow the amount of money Waller's foundation was able to raise for people battling addiction.
