LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The official cause of death for brothel owner and reality TV star Dennis Hof has finally been released.
The autopsy report lists acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) due to cardiovascular disease as his cause of death. Significant conditions listed include diabetes and obesity. His manner of death is listed as natural.
Hof was found dead on Oct. 16, 2018. He was found in his bedroom by the legendary adult film star Ron Jeremy. Hof had just turned 72 years old and was celebrating his birthday the night before at a Pahrump casino before returning to The Love Ranch in Crystal, which is near Pahrump.

The autopsy report also reveals that Hof had THC (active ingredient for marijuana) in his system. There was also evidence of Sildenafil, which is used to treat erectile dysfunction and high blood pressure, in his system.
Hof, who was a Republican, was running for public office at the time and many people speculated about his death. During his campaign, he called himself the "Trump of Pahrump" and had a very conservative platform. He was posthumously elected to the Nevada Assembly less than a month after his death.
