NORTH LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — North Las Vegas Police Department is investigating an early morning motorcycle crash that killed one man believed to be 21 years old.
Officers responded to reports of the crash involving only the motorcycle shortly after 5:30 a.m. near North Aliante Parkway and North Broadwing Drive.

Police say the motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene. His identity and cause of death will be released by the coroner's office.
Investigators believe he lost control of the motorcycle and then hit a tree.
During the investigation, the southbound travel lanes of Aliante were closed, but as of 10:30 a.m. roads were back open.
