LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — 13 Action News is getting to spend a day inside Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Bureau.
Lieutenant Ray Spencer leads the bureau. He has been with the department since 2002.

Spencer says violent crime rates in Las Vegas are down 40% in 2019 compared to 2018.
He credits the work of the department's staff as well as the community.
