The Culinary Union has released information about how many times local workers have been sexually assaulted or harassed on the job.

The union says Unite Here surveyed 10,000 members. A majority of cocktail servers and housekeepers reported that a guest has done something to make them feel unsafe.

A large percentage of workers also claim that they were sexually harassed by guests or by managers on the job.

The union recently voted to possibly strike on June 1. The Culinary Union says a one-month strike would cost MGM Resorts International and Caesars Entertainment $300 million.
