UPDATE: 3 additional people were transported to UMC Trauma in unknown condition. The victim thought to be in critical is no longer in critical condition. She was suffering a non-critical medical issue.
ORIGINAL STORY:
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a critical injury crash.
It was reported on Thursday at 3:42 p.m. near West Flamingo Road and South Tenaya Way.
At least one person was transported to UMC Trauma in critical condition. East and Westbound Flamingo Road at South Tenaya is currently shut down.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
