UPDATE NOV. 11: The Clark County Coroner has identified the victim as 39-year-old Lamique Wash from Las Vegas. Wash's cause of death was due to gunshot wounds to her back and head. Her death was ruled a homicide.
Las Vegas police say a woman is dead after being shot multiple times this morning.
According to Lt. Ray Spencer with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, they received several calls around 7:15 a.m. about a shooting at Sunset Canyon Apartments near South Grand Canyon Drive and West Sunset Road.

Upon arrival, they discovered a woman in her late 30s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She as transported to University Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.
Police believe the woman had been fighting with her long-term boyfriend over a set of car keys prior to the shooting.
The woman was on the phone with her mother during the argument.
Two children — a teenager and another child believed to be under the age of 10 — were in the apartment at the time of the shooting.
The shooter, which has not been identified, left the scene and has not been arrested at this time.
The Clark County coroner will identify the woman after notification.
