LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A woman is in custody for allegedly setting her ex-boyfriend's truck on fire overnight, according to investigators.

Fire crews responded to reports of the fire on Silver Heights Street, near Tenaya Way and Ann Road, shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

According to firefighters, they found a pickup truck on a driveway on fire, which spread to the house nearby.

The fire caused extensive damage to the house, firefighters say. It took crews 45 minutes to put the fire out.

Fire investigators ruled the fire was the result of arson.

According to police, the man's ex-girlfriend was seen driving by the scene and was taken into custody.

Paula L. Gordon, 54, has been charged with one count each of Arson, First Degree and Arson, Third Degree.

Firefighters from the North Las Vegas Fire Department assisted Las Vegas firefighters at the blaze.

There were no reported injuries during the incident.

Two adults and three dogs live there. They were displaced and the American Red Cross is assisting.
