Woman accused of killing nail salon manager expected to plead guilty

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The woman accused of killing another woman outside of a Las Vegas nail salon is expected to plead guilty to second-degree murder on Friday.

Krystal Whipple allegedly ran over nail salon manager Nhu Ngoc Nguyen outside of Crystal Nails & Spa during confrontation over nonpayment for services.

Whipple allegedly tried to pay for a manicure with a credit card that was declined multiple times.

Whipple fled the state after the incident and wasn’t arrested until January 2019.

Whipple has reportedly made a deal with prosecutors.
