UPDATE AUG. 7: Las Vegas police have identified 32-year-old Alex Solomon as the man arrested in connection to the attack of a senior citizen on July 30.
Solomon made his first court appearance in Las Vegas Justice Court this morning at 9 a.m. He was granted $3,000 bail with electronic monitoring.
He is ordered to stay away from the Albertsons grocery store on Flamingo Road near Maryland Parkway and to stay away from and make no contact with the man punched.
He must also stay out of trouble.
Solomon's next court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 11 at 8 a.m.
UPDATE AUG. 6: Las Vegas police say they were able to arrest the man wanted for punching an elderly man outside a grocery store earlier this week.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Las Vegas detectives seek the public’s assistance to identify a suspect who walked up to a senior citizen and punched him in the head.
The attack occurred on July 30 at a shopping center located in the 1300 block of East Flamingo Road near Maryland Parkway.
The 77-year-old disabled victim was walking into a grocery store pushing a shopping cart. An unidentified male walked towards him as he was about to enter the store and punched him in the head without provocation.
The possible suspect then walked away before police arrived. The suspect is described as a black male adult in his 20s, wearing a white shirt, dark shorts and white shoes.
Police released photos of the man on Wednesday.
