LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police are searching for three suspects wanted in connection with a brazen attack involving a woman in an east Las Vegas neighborhood.
Officers were called to a residence near the intersection of Las Casitas and East Pecos Way for reports of a robbery at about 9 p.m. on March 3.
Detectives said a woman was assaulted and robbed near her house by three men who approached her when she arrived home.
One of the men asked the victim for money, and when she declined and turned away, she was struck on the back of the head, according to police.
Then two other men joined with one of them cutting her clothes off along with a sexual assault threat while she was knocked to the ground.
During the incident, the victim's purse strap was cut, and the suspects left the scene with the woman's belongings.
The attackers were all described as Hispanic men and approximately 30 years old. One was last seen wearing blue pants and a red shirt, armed with a small knife. Another was last seen wearing dark pants and a sweater with the third wearing jeans and a hoodie.
