Two big trials will be getting underway today in Las Vegas courtrooms.
Javier Righetti will face a jury for the murder of 15-year-old Alyssa Otremba.
Otremba was kidnapped, rapped, stabbed repeatedly and burned in 2011 in a desert area of Centennial Hills.
Righetti pleaded guilty last year but his plea was thrown out later.

If convicted, he could face the death penalty.
Also, the trial for former MMA fighter known as War Machine also begins today.
He is accused of severely beating his ex-girlfriend and adult film actress Christy Mack three years ago.

Mack was left with a total of 18 broken bones and lacerated liver after the attack.
The fighter is already serving prison time for a separate assault case.
