UPDATE: Relatives say Angel Mercado, 16, was shot in North Las Vegas Monday night.

"Frustrated, mad, that I couldn't do nothing about it," said Mercado's uncle.

It happened as the teen was playing soccer outside. Relatives say suspected gang members drove up and picked a fight.

Mercado ignored the men and that's when gunfire erupted.

The teen was shot in the hand and foot. He is out of surgery and expected to be okay.
