Las Vegas police are seeking a suspect after a man was stabbed to death at a 7-Eleven gas station early Monday morning.
Around 12:10 a.m., police responded to the 900 block of Sierra Vista Drive, near Desert Inn Road and Maryland Parkway, to investigate reports of a stabbing. Officers found an unresponsive man in a parking lot suffering from apparent stab wounds. The man was transported to Sunrise Hospital and later pronounced deceased.
Homicide detectives determined the man was chased through a parking lot by the suspect, described as a thin black man wearing a tan shirt and jeans. The two then became engaged in a physical confrontation where the victim was stabbed. At this time, detectives have not identified the suspect or motive.
The identity of the deceased, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
This investigation remains ongoing and detectives are seeking to identify and locate the suspect involved.
